Shared Ownership Show

The May edition of Canal Boat is in the shops.  Not much in it from me this month, just a news report on the Shared Ownership Show held at Braunston last month.

Moment in Time on test

We've been away, and during the holiday the March edition of Canal Boat came out.  It includes my boat test of Moment in Time, a Fernwood boat which has been planned down to the size of every cupboard and drawer.

Saving Salamander

The February edition of Canal Boat is out, and includes my article about Salamander, a composite-hulled Dutch barge, which the owner had to finish himself.

Easy All on test

The January edition of Canal Boat is in the shops, and includes my review of Easy All, a 67footer by Heartwood.  David's photos of the exterior look particularly good this month; you'd never know that we spent the morning dodging showers, that it was really windy, and rather cold.

Crunch time

This month's contribution to Canal Boat is a piece about a boat which had a tree fall on it, and was repaired by the guys at the Nantwich Canal Centre.

Oakapple on test

The August issue of Canal Boat is out, and includes my review of the Barn Owl boat, Oakapple, which won Best in Show at the Crick Boat Show at the end of May.
