The January edition of Canal Boat is out, and contains my review of the Elton Moss widebeam, Tulak.  It has some remarkable technology on board, so is well worth a read.

The December issue of Canal Boat is out, and includes my boat test of Wey Away by MGM Boats.

Elsie Alice on test

The November issue of Canal Boat is in the shops, and includes my boat test of Elsie Alice, a 50ft cruiser stern with a very colourful interior, by Tristar Boats.

 

Betty on test

The September issue of Canal Boat is out, and includes my boat test on the runner up at the Crick Boat Show, Betty. It's by Mel Davis and Jim Birch.

 

Mochyn Du on test

The June issue of Canal Boat is out, and includes my review of the Fernwood Boat, Mochyn Du. This boat will be at the Crick Boat Show later this month.

 

Sine Nomine on test, and Shared Boating

It might still be March, but the May issue of Canal Boat is out, and includes my boat test on Sine Nomine, a Wharf House fitout of a Steve Hudson shell, which was unfinished when Steve died. The boat is owned by Lord Trimble, the former First Minister of Northern Ireland.

There's also a piece on shared ownership, which includes a contribution by my second cousin, Catherine, about her shared boat, Rowington.

The April Canal Boat is in the shops, and includes my boat test on Dolly Blue, built by Aqua Narrowboats.

The March edition of Canal Boat is out, and includes my boat test on the 9ft wide Pioneer by Narrowboats Ltd.

 

Spica on test

The February edition of Canal Boat is out, and includes my boat test on Spica, a Roger Farrington shell fitted out by Sandhills.  This is one of my favourite boats of recent times -- well worth a look.
